Our Story

Gocaby's story began in January 2023, when our founder became aware of the challenges faced by local drivers who were remitting most of their earnings to other ride-hailing apps, particularly during a period of fuel scarcity in Nigeria. Additionally, cash scarcity and network issues had made it difficult for riders to access transportation services.

To address these challenges, the Gocaby app was developed as a ride-hailing and delivery platform with an in-app payment system that is immune to network issues. Furthermore, the low earnings issue faced by drivers was resolved by introducing a fixed low commission, ensuring that drivers retain the majority of their earnings. This solution provides a lasting remedy for these challenges, creating a better experience for both riders and drivers.
